Your style of writing shines out from other students. :) I was very impressed with your creative essay (which unfortunately does not have a title) because you effectively elaborated on Elin's change of emotions. You also amazed me through your photo essay and your diamante poems. I am looking forward to your reflection essay :)
What you can improve later on is trying out with complex sentence structures. You can definitely improve your writing by trying many complex sentence structures, such as independent and dependent clause (I wanted to go hiking; however, I couldn't hike because it was raining), appositives (A person exceptionally talented in mathematics, John Nash became an eminent professor), modifiers, and so on. There are several ways to improve and practice complex sentence structures. One way is to read several books. I recommend you to read "Newberry Awards books", books which have received critical acclaims from authors and readers. Such books include "the giver", "a girl named disaster", and "Charlotte's Web"
